Make a well in the center, then add the milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir just until the dough comes together.<br /><br />Turn it onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth. Divide into 8 pieces and shape each one into a roll.<br /><br />Place 4 portions into the pie maker, flatten them slightly, and score a small cross on top. Cook for 10–12 minutes, brushing with milk halfway through, until cooked through. Repeat with the remaining dough and serve warm.
